How Elle Morgan Media Came to Life
A photo a day. That’s how this all began.
At first, it was just a small goal—take a daily photo of each of my three kids. But it quickly became so much more. It became a ritual, a reminder, and the best form of storytelling I could give them. In documenting their everyday—morning bedhead, belly laughs, the way they clung to my leg or cuddled on the couch—I started to see how powerful these little moments really are. These photos aren’t just images; they’re pieces of their childhood, preserved.
Growing up, I was the middle child. My older brother had the baby albums, the milestone photos. My younger brother and I? Not as much. And now, as a mom myself, I get it. Life is busy, overwhelming even. You start with the best of intentions. You pour so much into your first, capturing all the firsts. But as your family grows, so do the demands, and documenting it all often takes a backseat.
My dad was a dedicated orthopedic surgeon—on call, always moving. My mom had three of us, all 14 months apart. She did the best she could with what she had, and I hold no blame. But I do wish I had more photos of those early years—more glimpses into the love, the chaos, the connection that I know was there. That longing has been one of the biggest motivators behind Elle Morgan Media.
What I’ve come to love most about photography is how these little, everyday images reveal so much of who our kids really are. When I take a photo of one of the boys and send it to my partner, we’re always saying, “That’s so Gav,” or “That’s so Max.” It’s not just about a cute smile or a good pose—it’s the crinkle of the nose, the way their hands move when they talk, the glance they give when they think no one’s looking. These are the moments that live in our hearts, and seeing them frozen in time? That’s the real magic.
I want my kids to see their story—not just hear it. I want to hand them a legacy of love and memory. I want them to remember the crying faces, the devious smiles, the messy hair, the tiny feet, and those ordinary moments that we often forget but deeply treasure. And I want to offer that same gift to other families.
My photography business isn’t about perfection or posed portraits (though there’s space for those too). It’s about capturing what’s real. The moments that make you laugh, cry, and say, “That’s so us.” It’s about being the fly on the wall in your home, catching the way your child looks at you, the way your partner comforts them, or how you all gather around the kitchen on a lazy Saturday morning flipping pancakes together.
This is my way of honoring memory. Of documenting what matters. And of giving other families the gift of seeing their love—tangled up in the everyday—preserved for generations to come.
If any part of this resonates with you—if you've ever looked through your camera roll and realized you’re not in the photos, or wished you had more than just the holiday card snapshots—I’d love to help you change that.
Even now, my 4-year-old is constantly asking to see pictures of himself—“just one more video, Mom?” It’s a reminder that our kids love seeing themselves reflected in their world. These memories matter to them too, even before they can fully express why.
This work is deeply personal to me, and I’m honored every time a family trusts me to tell their story. Whether you’re ready now, planning ahead, or just want to explore the idea, I’d love to connect.
Let’s capture the moments you’ll want to remember most—the ones that are so your family.
