    These sessions can take place at home, your favorite park, or anywhere that feels meaningful to you. I’ll give gentle direction to keep things moving, but I’m mostly there to observe and document what unfolds naturally. Think of it like a snapshot of your everyday life—simple, beautiful, and real.

  • The best time for a family session is typically in the early morning or late afternoon when the light is soft and flattering.

    However, I’m happy to work with your schedule to find the best time for your family, especially if you have little ones with specific nap times.

  • It’s ideal to book at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for busy seasons like holidays, spring, and fall. If you have a specific date in mind, let me know as soon as possible, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

  • Don’t stress — I’ve got you! After booking, I’ll send over a simple guide with tips and inspiration for putting outfits together. I’m also happy to help you narrow down options or send ideas. The goal is for you to feel like you — comfortable, confident, and connected.

    I recommend wearing something that makes you feel comfortable and reflects your style. Neutral tones, soft fabrics, and layers work really well in photos. For families, coordinating, but not matching, outfits often look great. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to provide styling suggestions based on the location and season.

  • No need to worry! If rain is in the forecast, we’ll simply reschedule your session to another day. I always keep an eye on the weather leading up to your session, so I’ll be in touch if it looks like we need to make a change.

    If the weather is on the fence, we’ll hold off on making a final call until the day before—because, honestly, there’s nothing worse than rescheduling and then having a beautiful, sunny day! When in doubt, check your email. I’ll keep you updated and make sure we find the perfect time for your session.

  • If there’s something special to you—whether it’s a favorite toy, blanket, or something that represents your family—I’m all for incorporating it! I love capturing the details that make your story unique, so feel free to bring anything meaningful.

  • Absolutely! Pets are a big part of many families, and I love including them in photos. Just let me know if you’re bringing your furry friends so we can plan accordingly.

  • Don’t worry! I’ve got lots of tricks up my sleeve to keep the session fun and relaxed. If your kids need a break or want to run around a bit, that’s totally fine. We’ll work with their mood and pace to get the best shots, and I’m all about capturing those candid moments too.
